DJ Setup
Answer a few questions to brand the dancer request page, DJ console, and big-screen display. Leave blanks for anything you don’t have yet (logo, tip links, WPForms IDs).
Who is the DJ?
Used on the big screen, request page title, and CRM event tags.
Lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens. Spaces are cleaned up automatically when you Continue.
Branding
Logo and board name appear in the top card on the Up Next screen. Keep them short so dancers can read them from the floor.

Logo size limits (Up Next board):
• Best: square or wide PNG/SVG with transparent background
• Upload / host a file about 400×400 px (or up to 600×200 if wide)
• On screen it fits in about 160×80 px — very tall logos will shrink
• File type: PNG or SVG preferred (JPG OK). Keep under ~500 KB.
Preview ≈ board logo frame:
Used for buttons/highlights only if contrast is strong enough. Not used for Create Profile (stays grey).
Tips & public board
Optional tip links open in a new tab. Board window controls how many “up next” songs dancers see.
Audience & screen copy
Defaults are line-dance friendly. Edit to match the DJ’s voice.
Integrations
Leave form IDs at 0 for local testing. Fill when WordPress / WPForms is ready.
assets/data/songs.json with the DJ’s most-requested
line dance tracks. Online iTunes search still fills gaps. Catalog upload is a future custom addition.
Review & save
Saving applies settings for this browser (localStorage) and marks setup complete.
Build an unlimited playlist. The public board shows the next 10 upcoming songs. Tap ✓ Played to advance. Accepted dancer requests default to upcoming slot #4 (or pick a number). Use ↑ ↓ or the position box to reorder — crowd ▲▼ votes stay with each song and never reshuffle the list. Tap Last song to lock the board end; tap Clear last song to unlock.
